Whiskers in the Quiet

Following on from my “Where Whiskers Dream” post, some more photographs from the basket. I love photographing Velcro in black & white, and it seems fitting for a tuxedo cat. The simplicity of monochrome enhances the contrast between her black & white markings.

Velcro usually doesn’t sit still long enough for photographs. Though yes, I do have plenty of pictures of her. Most aren’t what you’d call portraits; they’re quick snapshots, little attempts to capture a fleeting moment. But her basket has definitely become the one place where she almost seems to pose. ‘Pose’ might be too generous a word, ‘tolerates being photographed’ is probably more accurate.
