A few more captures of Little Red from our visit to Castle Howard Arboretum last year. The Arboretum is home to one of the UK’s most successful red squirrel breeding programmes.
There’s a quiet charm in the way a red squirrels pause, alert yet unhurried, as if the forest itself holds its breath. I tried to capture those fleeting moments of stillness and curiosity as these squirrels explored their Woodland landscape.
