Under the Sycamore

A short stroll through our local park. Stopping to enjoy a few moments of peace & calm under one of the Sycamore trees. Moments like these remind me of how lucky we are to live in a city where we are surrounded by so many green spaces, which are within walking distance or only a short drive away.

When I am out in nature, even if it is only a short walk through a park. I try my best to stop and be present in the moment.  Yes, these moments do usually involve me taking photographs. For me, taking the time to photograph nature I feel still allows me to be present in the moment. It is my way of connecting with nature.

I have mentioned before that I have struggled recently with finding the time & motivation to connect with nature and take photographs. But the warm weather we’ve had recently has been a welcome motivation booster, which has encouraged me on my trips out of the house to stop for a moment to connect & photograph nature. Hopefully the warm weather & my motivation will continue.
