Last year, I had another chance to photograph Azure Damselflies. When it comes to damselflies and dragonflies, it’s rare to catch them resting anywhere long enough to be photographed, so I’m still very much practising the art of capturing these flighty little creatures.

I’m always drawn to the vibrant blue of the male Azure Damselfly. Even against a backdrop of bright green foliage, that striking colour refuses to disappear, it stands out every time.
