Cat with No Name

When I’m not out exploring and photographing the world, our furry friend has become a favourite muse. I’ve been looking back through my earliest photos of her, and a few of them felt perfect for this post.

In those early days, she was the cat with no name, far longer than she probably should’ve been. Partly because she arrived as a stray and we tried to convince ourselves that not naming her meant we wouldn’t get attached. And partly because I just couldn’t find a name that truly fit her.

Name or not, she stole our hearts almost immediately, and it was clear from the start that she had already chosen us as her people. It’s hard to believe that five years on, this little stray furball has become such a cherished part of our family.

And yes, I’m glad to say she does have a name now.
