Ecclesall Woods, Sheffield, South Yorkshire It’s almost the end of March and a visit to Ecclesall Woods in Sheffield is like stepping back in to Autumn. There are only a few signs that Spring is upon us.
It’s late March and we’re in the early stages of Spring, yet some of our woodland landscapes still look as if we’re deep in the throws of Autumn.
While visiting the Longshaw Estate in Derbyshire the other weekend we managed to see some of the wildlife that have made the estate their home, including some Mandarin ducks.
