As a Scotsman growing up in the North-East of Scotland, it’s safe to say that Scotland will always hold a special place in my heart. Although, I may not have always appreciated the beautiful vistas that this great country has to offer.
Growing up in Aberdeen aka the Granite City you could be forgiven for not realising the beauty of the green & wild spaces that surround the grey granite of the city.
Exploring Aberdeen & Aberdeenshire is in part is what got me into photography. Capturing views from sunsets, greenspaces, to seascapes.
Most of us are guilty of not exploring or appreciating what is right on our doorstep. Since moving south of the border I have learned to appreciate Scotland more & explore more of the views & wonders it has to offer on each of our visits back North. My “Discover: Scotland” collection is a selection of the Scottish vistas that I have explored. There are so many parts of Scotland that I have yet to discover.
