Yellow Lilies: Hint of Summer

A few quick snap shots of our homegrown lilies. Our garden is in need of a little TLC this year. But these Lilies never fail to come back each year and bring a little bit of sunshine with them to brighten up the garden. We’ve been a little distracted with other commitments, and the weeds have taken over a little. So, I’ve not been able to cultivate my usual homegrown inspiration for flower photography this year.

These snapshots aren’t up to my usual standard, but I wanted to share something recent. Finding the motivation to go out and photograph new subjects is still something that I’m struggling with at the moment. I know that I have lots of photographs in my archives that I have yet to share. But I like to try and share recent work when I can. I am also trying to be better at not letting my photographs sit in my archives for months before sharing them with the world.

On a side note, I would really appreciate your feedback. When it comes to photo galleries on blogs. Do people prefer tiled galleries or slideshows? Readers, please let me know your thoughts. As regular visitors to my site will see, I’ve opted for slideshows for my recent posts. Which I think works well, but I would still value everyone’s opinions, thank you.
