Flashback to December last year, just before New Year. A visit to York on what seemed like the foggiest day of the year. York is a beautiful place to visit in the best of weather. The fog added an extra depth to grand architecture of York’s streets and buildings creating some atmospheric scenery to photograph.
I decided to display my collection of photographs for this post as a slideshow instead of my usual gallery appearance. Which I hope works just as well. Please feel free to tell me your preference in the comments. Which style do you think works better and why? Gallery or slideshow?
Each time I visit York I am still holding out for the opportunity to photograph the Shambles without the street being crowded with people. Although, I think to achieve this I need to stay over in York and either visit the Shambles really early in the morning or late at night. One day maybe.
