These shots were taken a few weeks ago now, but I’ve not had the motivation to write the blog post to go with it. I’m always torn between posting just my photos (literally just photo-blogging) or trying to write some sort of narrative to go with my photos. I never really know what to write.
Lately I am still struggling with motivation, be that with capturing photos, writing posts, or anything to be honest.
I don’t usually photograph flowers in black & white, as it seems a shame not to capture & share the vibrant colours that nature has to offer. But of late I’m drawn more and more to black & white photography. I wasn’t sure how well this would work, capturing daffodils in monochrome. But I’m quite happy with the end result. I think I’ve still managed to capture the brightness of Spring, while exploring the shadows that photographing in monochrome offers.
