In June while visiting Aberdeen we took a day trip to Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire while there we spent the afternoon at nearby Dunnottar Castle. Although I have visited the site of Dunnottar Castle several times over the years this was the first time that I explored the actual castle itself. The castle provides some majestic views over the North Sea.
