On our recent trip back to Aberdeen to visit family and friends we took some time out to visit the Botanical Gardens at the University of Aberdeen’s Zoology campus; Cruickshank Botanic Garden. The gardens were in bloom with many different flowers and plants, their collection of Giant Thistles is what captured my attention.
Spring is definitely in full bloom with daffodils starting to appear along in parks, gardens, and along hedgerows. Confirming spring has most certainly arrived.
