The Common Daisy

Most of my photo gallery posts recently have involved me delving into my photo archives for work that haven’t shared yet. Due to life and lack of motivation I have been guilty of letting my photographs hide away in my archives, sometimes for months before revisiting them. The other day I had a moment of motivation (and the luxury of time). So, these are the most recent shots I have taken and shared in some time. They are only quick snapshots, so not the highest quality or my best captures. But I liked them, so thought I would still share them with the world.

I know most people see the common daisy as a weed and possibly not a flower. But I enjoy them. I have shared photographs I have taken of them before, and I’m sure I shall continue to share any new photographs I take of these under-rated flowers. These delicate little flowers always bring back childhood memories for me. Memories of sitting in a park or garden relaxing and enjoying the sunshine. Memories of less stressful times, when as a child the world seemed less complicated.
