Squirrel in the Woods

Another post where I have delved into my photo archives.

A couple of years ago we took a trip to Scarborough. While there we stopped off to explore Peasholm Park, which is known for its squirrel population. Anyone who knows me, knows that Squirrels are one of my favourite woodland animals. I love any opportunity to watch and photograph them. We have been to the park before, and it didn’t fail to disappoint this time either.

The squirrels of Peasholm are clearly used to people, which does make photographing them considerably easier. For anyone who loves these little woodland inhabitants, if for no other reason but to see the squirrels. I would definitely recommend a visit to Peasholm Park if you ever find yourself in Scarborough. Because they are quite tame they will happily eat from your hand and pose to be photographed.

Although, I have shared at least one of these shots before on my social media. I have not shared them here on my blog until now. Which is surprising as these are probably 2 of my favourite photographs that I have taken to date. I think what I like about them the most is they have a slightly artistic vibe (in my opinion). I’m quite proud of how these 2 shots came out.
