Update: New Logo

After recently updating the colour scheme of my website to the dark theme that you see now. I decided to rework my logo, the next stage of creating a fresh new look for my website & blog. I have played with the idea of including my signature or using a script styled font for some time now. I created a concept piece a while back with my actual signature, but I wasn’t happy with it, so I scrapped it.

After coming across a font that caught my eye (& is actually pretty damn close to my signature), I played around with a few ideas, finally coming up with what you see above.

Since first starting to share my photography work online I have also used my logo as a watermark on my photographs. To act like my signature on my work (like a artist would sign a painting). With this newest version of my logo I have played around with transparencies to create a signature, which I think works and looks better than it’s previous incarnation. As you can see I have also opted to use the transparency effect on my site title header, allowing me to showcase my artwork as well as my logo. I have also created a version to use as a signature when signing off posts (as you will see below).

Now comes the realisation of having to update 20+ years of artwork with my new logo/signature. I have started to update a few of my recent photo gallery posts already, but this may take some time if I decide to update all of my previous gallery posts.
