During our recent holiday to Zakynthos we took a trip to Agios Sostis a small village located between Laganas & Keri. Where we spent some time taking in the views from Cameo Island. A small private island situated just off the bay of Agios Sostis.

For a small fee you can visit the private island, which hosts a couple of bars that offers refreshments for guests to enjoy as they relax on this little spot of paradise. One of the things that impressed us from our visit to Zakynthos was the crystal clear waters that surround most of the island. One side of the island overlooks Laganas Bay & Agios Sostis, where the other side of the Island looks out towards the island of Marathonsis, which is affectionately known by locals as “Turtle Island” due to it being the nesting home of loggerhead turtles.

I would definitely recommend anyone holidaying to Zakynthos taking some time to visit Cameo Island, we spent a few hours relaxing on the island enjoying the Greek sunshine and capturing some photos of this little spot of paradise.
