Lowedges Festival: Classic Cars

At the weekend we went to Lowedges Festival, which is a community event organised by Greenhill & Bradway Tennants Association. Like most events in Sheffield, which always surprises me, it was free entry. The festival was a great day out for the whole family, including stalls, fun fair rides, car boot sale, food & drink on tap. One of the attractions was the classic cars, including cars dating from the 1920’s – 1970’s.

I’m not a car buff so will be honest I have no idea the make and model of most of the cars there. But I can still enjoy the aesthetics of these vechicles.

These cars may not be the environmentally friendly or as fuel efficient vechicles that we produce today but there is a lot to be said for the style. They definately are in a class of thier own and look a lot better than some of the cars that are produced today.

These fine examples of motoring history are just a few of my favourites that I captured while at Lowedges Festival.
